The AMSA Men's Studies Syllabus Project
As
part of its mission, the American Men’s Studies
Association has collected men’s studies course syllabi as a resource
for people who are developing a course or looking at what is taught in
the field. The first collection was made in hard copy by Sam Femiano in
1985 and, for many years, circulated throughout the United States and
Canada. That collection became obsolete and a directory of men’s
studies courses was published by Sam Femiano for several years until it
was transferred to the University of New Hampshire for about
three years in the mid 90’s. No syllabi were attached but
interested people could contact the course teachers directly.
The AMSA Men's Studies Syllabus Project on this page is the latest incarnation of those earlier resources. We invite everyone who is teaching to contribute to the site. It is intended to be a resource for the men’s studies community, and we will update it regularly.
